Introduction
The K2 Base Camp Trek is one of the most well-known and challenging trekking routes in the world. On this amazing journey, visitors arrive at the base of K2, the world's second-highest mountain, which stands at 8,611 meters. Following the Baltoro Glacier through the heart of the Karakoram Range, the route provides breathtaking views of Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, and Masherbrum.
This expedition begins in the town of Askoli and takes trekkers through some of the most remote and wild places on earth. Walking beside enormous glacier landscapes and granite spires, like the famous Trango Towers, is an amazing experience for seasoned hikers.
Climbers prepare to conquer this difficult peak at the final destination, the K2 Base Camp.
