Overview

Experience world-class ski adventure in the Karakoram Mountains of Pakistan, one of the most remote and spectacular skiing destinations on Earth. The Karakoram offers untouched powder snow, high-altitude terrain, and breathtaking descents surrounded by legendary peaks including K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum, and Masherbrum.

Our guided ski tours are designed for adventure seekers looking for backcountry skiing, ski touring, and ski mountaineering in Pakistan, far away from crowded ski resorts.

Ski Mountaineering in Nobande Sobande Glacier & Snow Lake, Karakoram

Highlights of the tour include cycling through Hunza Valley, camping beneath Rakaposhi in Minapin, visiting UNESCO-listed Baltit and Altit Forts, and experiencing the warm hospitality, culture, and traditional cuisine of the Hunza people. The journey culminates at Khunjerab Pass, the spectacular border crossing between Pakistan and China, marking the highest point of the Karakoram Highway.

The Nobande Sobande Glacier and Snow Lake areas in Pakistan’s Karakoram Mountains are remote, wild, and ideal for high-altitude ski mountaineering. These regions have several peaks where experienced mountaineers can climb and then ski down long snow slopes.
