Introduction

You will travel through the Wakhan Corridor, one of Pakistan's most remote and beautiful regions, on our Wakhan & Chilinji Pass Trek. You will start in Islamabad and go through Chitral and the Broghil Valley along the ancient trade routes that linked Central Asia. As the hike crosses three high passes, Shah Janali (about 4,215 m), Karambar (approximately 4,300 m), and the challenging Chilinji Pass (roughly 5,160 m) it provides stunning vistas of glaciers, high plateaus, and turquoise lakes.

Hiking through isolated Wakhi and Tajik settlements, vast yak-grazed grasslands, and verdant valleys will allow you to fully appreciate the unspoiled beauty of northern Pakistan in all its richness. Hunza Valley, where the journey ends, offers opportunities for tourism, cross-cultural exchanges, and expansive views of the Karakoram Highway.

With experienced guides, full camping support, small group sizes (1–10 people), and all required permissions and logistics handled, Expedition Pakistan offers this trip as a demanding but tremendously rewarding experience for anyone looking for adventure and authenticity.
